<br />I <br /> <br />with the advice and consent of the Mayor's Citizen Task Force, and then provide executive <br />oversight regarding the operations of the committees. Committee members will provide advice to <br />the City on the particular topics assigned to the committees by the Consultant. <br /> <br />1.2.14 Assist the Mayor's Citizen Task Force to define community stakeholder groups and <br />advise the City on a process to orient community stakeholders. The Consultant will provide <br />community briefings and conduct interviews, with the assistance of City staff <br /> <br />1.2.15 Facilitate a minimum of three public forums: a) an Initial Project Launch Forum, after <br />selection of the Mayor's Citizen Task Force, where the public is invited to receive a briefing and <br />ask questions of the Consultant and Mayor's Citizen Task Force representatives; b) an Update <br />Forum, where the selected mesh network vendor, the Consultant, and the Mayor's Citizen Task <br />Force representatives provide an overview of a project implementation plan; and c) a Network <br />Launch forum, where the selected mesh network vendor, the Consultant, and the Mayor's Citizen <br />Task Force representatives officially launch the network test phase and invite participation. <br /> <br />1.2.16 Provide a Frequently Asked Questions section for the Wireless San Marcos community <br />web site. <br /> <br />1.2.17 Conduct initial meetings with PEC and Bluebonnet Electric regarding pole attachment <br />agreements. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1.3 PHASE 2 - PROCUREMENTIRFP <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Provide Oversight ofthe "Wireless San Marcos" Community Website. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Coordinate the continuing orientation of community stakeholders. <br /> <br />1.3.3 Manage the Mayor's Citizen Task Force and all committees established for the Project. <br /> <br />1.3.4 Provide oversight of public community forums. <br /> <br />1.3.5 Conduct regional partner meetings on a monthly basis for the duration of the Project. <br /> <br />1.3.6 Collect and analyze model city wireless network RFPs. <br /> <br />1.3.7 Interview city representatives with successful city network experience regarding best <br />practices. <br /> <br />1.3.8 Produce a Profile of Best Practices RFP guide. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1.3.9 Outline the RFP and gather necessary city documents, maps, etc. <br /> <br />Wireless Mesh Contract <br /> <br />3 <br />
