FIREPROOFING/FIRE CAULKING INSPECTION <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1.8.1 Take fireproofing thicknesses and densities at every 10,000 square feet. <br /> <br />1.8.2 Visually observe fire caulking around all penetrations through the dry wall. <br /> <br />1.9 TASK 8. MASONRY INSPECTION <br /> <br />The Consultant will, from the start of construction: <br /> <br />1.9.1 Provide periodic inspection of site prepared mortar. <br /> <br />1.9.2 Provide periodic inspection of mortar joints. <br /> <br />1.9.3 Provide periodic inspection of the placement of reinforcement and connectors. <br /> <br />1.9.4 Sample and test one sample of compressive strengths of mortar and grout, representative <br />of each 5000 S.P. of masonry. <br /> <br />1.9.5 Include verification of: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />a) size and location of structural elements; <br />b) type, size and location of anchors, including other details of anchorage of masonry to <br />structural members, frames or other construction; <br />c) specified size, grade and type of reinforcement; <br /> <br />PSI Conference Center Testing.doc <br /> <br />7 <br />
