<br /> of the City and the Consultant and with notice to the Contractor. <br /> 1.5.25 If professional design services or certifications by a design professional related to <br /> systems, materials or equipment are specifically required of the Contractor by the Contract <br /> Documents, the Consultant will specify appropriate performance and design criteria that <br /> the services must satisfy. Shop Drawings and other submittals related to the Work <br /> designed or certified by the design professional retained by the Contractor will bear the <br /> professional's written approval when submitted to the Consultant. The Consultant will be <br /> entitled to rely upon the adequacy, accuracy and completeness of the services, <br /> certifications or approvals performed by these design professionals. <br /> 1.6 ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> 1.6.1 Since the Consultant's compensation is a fixed fee for Basic Services, including <br /> minor deviations from those described in this Agreement, compensation to the Consultant <br /> for additional services will only be for substantial deviations from the scope of services <br /> described in this Agreement. The Consultant will submit a written estimate of fees to the <br /> City and obtain the City's authorization before initiating any additional services. <br /> 1.6.2 Additional services may include, but are not limited to: <br /> A. Construction administration services that extend more than 60 days <br /> beyond the date of Substantial Completion of the Project. <br /> B. Consultant's responses to Contractor's requests for information when <br /> this information is available to the Contractor from a careful study and <br /> comparison of the contract documents, field conditions, other City <br /> provided information, or prior Project correspondence or <br /> d ocu mentation. <br /> C. Any further services provided by the Consultant if the Contractor has <br /> not achieved Substantial Completion of the Project within three <br /> months from the Notice to Proceed for Phase I, five months from the <br /> Notice to Proceed for Phase II, and five months from the Notice to <br /> Proceed for Phase III. <br /> D. Site visits required of the Consultant in excess of 84 visits over the <br /> duration of the construction. <br /> E. More than two reviews of any shop drawing, product data item, <br /> sample, or similar submittal that are required of the Consultant, <br /> through no fault of the Consultant. <br /> F. Preparation of change orders and field orders requiring extensive <br /> evaluation of Contractor proposals and/or revisions or additions to the <br /> construction documents not occasioned by an error or omission of the <br /> 11 <br />
