<br /> County: Hays <br /> CSJ: 0914-33-900 <br /> Highway: Center Point Road <br /> B. The Engineering plans shall be developed with the Outside Entity's forces or its <br /> consultant, in accordance with the Design Division Highways and Procedures <br /> Manual and the 1993 Standard Specifications for Construction and Maintenance <br /> of Highways. Streets. and Bridges Manual. <br /> <br /> C. The engineering plans shall be submitted to the State for review and approval, <br /> three months prior to the scheduled bid opening date. Should the State determine <br /> that revisions are required to the engineering plans, the Outside Entity shall be <br /> responsible for the revisions. The State will not open bids for the construction <br /> contract until the engineering plans have been approved by the State. <br />3. Construction Responsibilities <br /> If the project is approved, it will be combined with Project 0016-03-073. The State will <br /> advertise for construction bids, issue bid proposals, receive and tabulate bids and award a <br /> contract for construction of the Project. All applicable procedures and laws will be <br /> adhered to. Actual construction shall be performed by contract awarded by the <br /> competitive bidding process. <br />4. Maintenance Responsibilities <br /> Upon completion of the Project, the Outside Entity shaH assume responsibility for the <br /> maintenance of the completed facilities within its jurisdiction. <br /> 8 <br />
