Indicate/show associated SWT improvements (reaction <br /> item). Please note that we are assuming cost participation by SWT for <br /> the reaction items. In this manner, one contractor can perform all <br /> necessary cutting and repair of asphalt and base, in the public street <br /> rights-of-way, at each location at one time. <br /> B. Provide coordination, as needed, with City Engineering and Public <br /> Works staff regarding the above. Likewise, provide coordination with <br /> SWT for "reaction" work. <br /> C. Prepare and provide technical specifications and a bid proposal form <br /> which will be collated with the general conditions, contract and bond <br /> forms, into a project manual provided by the City. <br /> II, BIDDING ASSISTANCE PHASE <br /> A. Attend pre-bid conference, if needed. <br /> B. Assist in securing bids. Attend and preside over Bid Opening <br /> (public). <br /> C. Evaluate bids received, and make recommendation of construction <br /> contract award. <br /> III. CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES <br /> A. Attend preconstruction conference. <br /> B. Review shop drawings, and respond to Requests for Information <br /> (RFI's), as/if required. <br /> C. Review and process contractor's monthly pay applications. <br /> D. Visit construction site periodically at an average of once a week for <br /> estimated eight (8) weeks' construction period. Observe <br /> construction for general conformity to contract documents (not full- <br /> time representation). <br /> E. Interpret drawings and specifications. <br /> F. Assist with final punch list. <br /> G. Issue Engineer's Concurrence Letter, and assist in obtaining City <br /> Final Acceptance. <br /> CLARIFICATIONS <br /> The above referenced Scope of Services excludes, but is not limited to, the <br /> following items of work, which can be furnished as additional services, nor <br /> does it include permitting fees or fiscal postings: Easement document <br /> surveying and preparation; work In conjunction with compatibility <br /> standards and ordinances; archaeological studies; structural engineering <br />
