<br /> prepared by Consultant and/or its subconsultants., contractors, and subcontractors in <br /> connection with this Agreement will not diminish Consultant's responsibility for the <br /> materials. <br /> 1.1.4 Consultant will perform all of its services in coordination with the City, CAPCO and <br /> the TNRCC. The Consultant will advise the City of data and information the Consultant <br /> needs to perform its services, and the Consultant will meet with City representatives at <br /> mutually convenient times to assemble this data and information. <br /> 1.2 Task 1- Identify Collection Event Participants <br /> <br /> The Consultant will: <br /> 1.2.1 Conduct presentations for each Participating Community regarding hazardous <br /> household waste collection. <br /> 1.2.2 Conduct presentations for neighboring communities to encourage co-sponsorship. <br /> 1.2.3 Obtain financial commitments from the Participating Communities and their <br /> neighboring communities for disposal costs. <br /> 1.2.4 Prepare interlocal agreements in coordination with the City for execution with <br /> interested communities for participation in the hazardous household waste collection <br /> program. <br /> 1,3 Task 2 - Recruit Sponsors <br /> <br /> The Consultant will: <br /> 1.3.1 Meet with community leaders in each Participating Community concerning potential <br /> sponsors for the disposal costs. <br /> 1.3.2 Contact the Chambers of Commerce in each Participating Community for a list of <br /> businesses in the community. <br /> 1.3.3 Conduct mail-outs to local businesses requesting sponsorship for the hazardous <br /> household waste collection program. <br /> 1.3.4 Conduct presentations for local business groups. <br /> 1.3.5 Meet with potential sponsors. <br /> 1.3.6 Tally all sponsors and obtain camera-ready artwork for advertising, etc. <br /> 1,4 Task 3 - Contact Waste Haulers/Disposal Firm <br /> <br /> 2 <br />
