<br /> The Consultant will: <br /> 1.4.1 Assist City in preparing bid package for waste haulers/disposal firms utilizing <br /> standard forms provided by the City. <br /> 1.4.2 Assist the City in soliciting bids. <br /> 1.4.3 Assist the City in bid review and provide recommendation letter to City for contract <br /> award. <br /> 1.5 Task 4 - Household Hazardous Waste Newsletter <br /> <br /> The Consultant will: <br /> 1.5.1 Develop format for publication of newsletters regarding the Project. <br /> 1.5.2 Obtain statistics on previous collection events. <br /> 1.5.3 Report on upcoming events in the CAPCO region. <br /> 1.5.4 Develop bulleted fact sheet. <br /> 1.6 Task 5 - Develop Event Schedule <br /> <br /> For each collection event, the Consultant will: <br /> 1.6.1 Work with community officials to choose collection sites and dates for each <br /> collection event. <br /> 1.6.2 Review hazardous waste disposal firm's calendar. <br /> 1.6.3 Review community's calendar of events. <br /> 1.6.4 Look at any conflict between collection site and other activities for that site. <br /> 1.6.5 Submit 90-day notification letter for each event to TNRCC. <br /> 1.6.6 Submit 45-day operational plan for each collection site to TNRCC. <br /> (a) obtain emergency numbers, closest hospital, fire department, police, <br /> etc. <br /> (b) complete a site drawing of the collection site showing flow of traffic <br /> and arrangement of each component. <br /> (c) work with contractor to complete health and safety plan. <br /> 3 <br />
