<br /> 1.4.14 Ensure that its employees, permanent or temporary, present a neat appearance <br /> and wear appropriate identification badges or uniforms so they can be easily recognized <br /> while performing work under this Contract. <br /> 1.4.15 Ensure that any of its employees who are not United States citizens have valid <br /> work permits. The Contractor will follow equal employment practices at all times. <br /> 1.4.16 Remove from service under this Contract and replace any of its employees for just <br /> cause as directed by the City. <br /> Office <br /> 1.4.17 The Contractor will maintain an office within the City limits, or provide other <br /> facilities through which it can be contacted. Sufficient local or toll free telephones and <br /> office staff will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. A current <br /> emergency phone number and name of a contact person will be provided to the City for <br /> use at night and on weekends and holidays. <br /> Notification <br /> The Contractor will: <br /> 1.4.18 Notify the Director of Public Works and the W\NTP Manager of all complaints, <br /> changes of disposal sites, changes in service procedures, changes in regulations, as well <br /> as providing any other pertinent information requested by the Director. <br /> 1.4.19 Forward to the City, a copy of all Texas Health Department Inspection Reports for <br /> each disposal site upon receipt. <br /> Interruption of Service <br /> <br /> 1.4.20 In the event the Contractor's performance of the Services is interrupted for any <br /> reason for more than forty-eight (48) hours, the City will have the right to make temporary <br /> alternate arrangements for the performance of Services. In this event the Contractor will <br /> bear all expenses incurred for the alternate performance of the Services. <br /> 1.4.21 Notwithstanding any other provision herein, ifthe interruption in service mentioned <br /> in the preceding paragraph continues for a period of seven (7) days, the City will have the <br /> right to immediately terminate this Contract and to seek any remedy provided by law. <br /> Natural Disaster <br /> <br /> 1.4.22 In the event of a natural disaster as determined by the City, the City has the right <br /> to dispose of the Sludge in whatever manner it may elect; provided however, that the City <br /> will attempt in good faith to use the Contractor's facilities if they can be used at the same <br /> 6 <br /> - <br />
