City's governing body is necessary for ail additional services the compensation for which exceeds <br />$25,000. <br /> <br />1.14.3 Services for possible "fast-tracking" of the City's pending TCEQ Appropriation Permit <br />Application, tasks and costs required for this effort will be negotiated at the time the City requests <br />such services. <br /> <br />1.14.4 Additional in-depth surface water and groundwater availability analysis for more than the 3 <br />scenarios identified in Basic Services, Task 5. Additional scenarios will be analyzed in-depth by <br />using the WAM and GAM models to determine the reliability of the source and potential impacts <br />on downstream water rights holders or other users. <br /> <br />1.14.5 Miscellaneous additional services include, but are not limited to the following: <br /> <br />(a) <br />(b) <br /> <br />(c) <br />(d) <br />(e) <br />(f) <br />(g) <br />(h) <br />(i) <br /> <br />Additional meetings beyond those identified above; <br />Revisions to population or water demand numbers if the City of San Marcos <br />proposed numbers are not approved by the TWDB for the Region L Plan; <br />Investigation of additional alternatives; <br />Resolution of environmental issues; <br />Additional copies of reports over the agreed upon number; <br />Assistance to City as m~ expert witness; <br />Permitting; <br />Historical and/or archeological surveys; and, <br />Preparation of meets and bounds surveys. <br /> <br />1.14.6 Limitations and Exclusions: TC&B and the Project Team will not be responsible for <br />developing any new models. Models used will be those approved for use by the Texas Water <br />Development Board unless otherwise agreed to by the City and TC&B. Complex analyses or <br />modeling of surface and groundwater interactions are not included in this scope. The Project Team <br />will identify significm~t surface/groundwater interactions that may require additional analyses. <br /> <br /> ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The City will: <br /> <br />2.1 Provide available criteria, full information and ali available written data to the Consultant <br />regarding the City's requirements for the Consultant's services under this Agreement in the City's <br />possession as needed by the Consultant at the Consultant's request. <br /> <br />2.2 Designate Laurie Anderson as the City's Project Manager and authorized representative to act <br />on the City's behalf with respect to this Agreement. The City will examine the documents and <br />information submitted by the Consultant and promptly render responses to the Consultm~t on issues <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br /> <br />
