(3) Public meeting to present the draft report for public comment. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Prepare agendas, meeting notifications, exhibits and handouts for each meeting and coordinate <br />those activities with the City; and identify, with the City's assistance, stakeholder groups and ways <br />to provide opportunities for their input in the project. <br /> <br />1.3.3 Prepare meeting summaries with issues discussed, develop a database of attendees from sign- <br />in sheet, and document written comments. <br /> <br />1.3.4 Deliverables.' Summaries of meetings, including minutes and comments in electronic pdf or <br />MS Word format. Provide meeting exhibits, presentations and handouts in electronic format. <br /> <br />1.4 TASK 3 - DATA COLLECTION AND REGIONAL PLAN EVALUATION <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.4.1 Review regional strategies identified in the Region L Water Plan for meeting water supply <br />shortages to determine if those strategies meet the needs and expectations o£ the San Marcos <br />community. The Consultant will collect previous water supply studies, strategies and data from <br />City. <br /> <br />1.4.2 Develop a matrix o£proposed strategies with source of strategy, general description and issues <br />regarding current feasibility of strategy. Information developed should be of sufficient detail for <br />planning purposes. It is anticipated that the evaluated strategies will include: <br /> <br />Reclaimed water; <br />Guadalupe River surface/stored water; <br />San Marcos River; <br />(1) unappropriated run-of-river rights or interruptible flow; <br />(2) use of existing water rights (City owned or purchased from others) with revision <br /> to diversion point; <br />(3) bed and banks permit (wastewater return flow); <br />Carrizo-Wilcox aquifer groundwater rights; and <br />Colorado River surface water <br /> <br />1.4.3 Review matrix with City at a regular monthly progress meeting to identify additional issues <br />that may impact any of the proposed strategies including population, water demand, water rights, <br />environmental, contractual, regulatory and permitting issues. <br />1.4.4. Prepare for City approval a recommendation of six (6) strategies that merit £urther <br />investigation. <br /> <br />1.4.5 Deliverables: Matrix of initial strategies, summm3, of City input on initial strategies and <br />Technical Memorandum recorm,aend ing six (6) strategies for further investigation (MS Word or pdf). <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
