Permitted Uses. <br /> <br />The uses permitted in the Lllight industrial district are as follows: <br /> <br />(1) Administrative offices. <br />(2) Back-office telecommunications operations including customer <br />service centers and telemarketing operations. <br />(3) Research, development and pilot manufacturing facilities, subject to <br />the standards listed in subsection (6) of this section. <br />(4) Biomedical facilities including the manufacturing and processing of <br />pharmaceuticals, biological products, and medical equipment, subject <br />to the standards listed in subsection (6) of this section. Allowed uses <br />in this subsection shall not include biological or medical waste <br />facilities. <br />(5) Distribution centers, subject to the standards listed in subsection (6) <br />of this section. <br />(6) Manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, repair, compounding, <br />packaging, treatment, processing, and distribution facilities subject to <br />I the following standards: <br /> <br />a. All activities other than loading or storage shall be conducted <br />wholly within a completely enclosed building; <br />b. Exterior storage facilities for raw materials, partially completed <br />products or finished products shall be limited to 15% of the <br />gross square footage of all enclosed buildings; <br />c. All exterior storage facilities visible from a public street or <br />adjoining a non-industrial district shall be screened from view <br />by a wall, opaque fencing or landscaping; <br />
