<br /> . <br /> 3'tt <br /> Attachment A to Contract for Engineering Services <br /> 2) Meet with Owner and CM during a progress meeting and obtain <br /> comments on the design memorandum and preliminary drawings. <br /> Resolve any questions, revise documents if necessary, and resubmit five <br /> copies each to Owner and CM. <br /> 3) Submit the design memorandum to the CM for distribution to the Texas <br /> Water Development Board (TWDB). <br /> 4) Update and distribute the design memorandum as required during the <br /> design phase. <br /> - <br /> 5) Prepare opinion of probable construction cost for the proposed work <br /> covered by the design memorandum. <br /> 6.2 Construction Contract Documents <br /> 1) Prepare detailed drawings and specifications and other contract <br /> documents for the proposed construction work and for the materials and <br /> equipment required. <br /> The documents shall incorporate standard forms provided by Owner and <br /> CNC and shall be prepared for selection of private construction <br /> contractors on a competitive bid basis. ' <br /> 2) Prepare one (1) construction and procurement contract for the proposed <br /> sludge processing and disposal improvements. <br /> 3) Review the contract documents for completeness, bidability, and <br /> cons tructability. <br /> 4) Provide three sets each of the contract documents to Owner and CM for <br /> review at the 60 and 90 percent project completion point. <br /> - 5) Following Owner's and CM's review of the final contract documents, <br /> meet to discuss the review comments and to resolve any questions. <br /> 6) After meeting with Owner and CM, make any necessary modifications <br /> and submit five copies of contract documents to CM for distribution to <br /> TWDB and Owner. <br /> 7) After receipt of TWDB review comments, revise and resubmit contract <br /> documents, if necessary. <br /> 6.3 Value Engineering <br /> Participate in a two-step value engineering process.
