Section 114.518(4), (5) and (6) of the San Marcos City Code are - <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />(4) Minimum depth of front setback: 20 feet. <br /> <br />(5) Minimùm depth of rear setback shall be 10 feet with an additional 2 feet <br />req~ired for each story above 24 feet, up to a maximum setback of 25 feet. <br />There shall be no encroachment or overhangs into this required rear yard. <br /> <br />(6) Minimum width of side setback: <br /> <br />a. Section 114.578(d)(3) of the San Marcos City Code is amended to <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />(3) The use of fraternity/sorority buildings and premises shall comply with the <br />following requirements. Most requirements are followed by a penalty point <br />value in parentheses that is assessed for confirmed violations of the <br />requirement, and the cumulative total of penalty points is used to establish <br />cause for revocation of the specific use permit as set forth in subsection <br />(d)(6) of this section. <br /> <br />a. The organization shall notify the director within 15 days when there is a <br />change in the name of the contact person or of the chapter president (1 <br />point) <br /> <br />b. The premises shall comply with all applicable building, fire, and other life <br />safety codes. Fraternity and sorority buildings which are lawfully existing <br />on June 22, 1992, will not be required to comply with all current building <br />trade codes that apply to new buildings, but will be inspected and <br />required to comply with minimum life safety requirements as determined <br />by the chief building official.
