Review the Contractor's construction sequence and traffic control <br /> plans for construction work undertaken simultaneously. <br /> Coordinate work between Contractors working at the site to <br /> resolve conflicts regarding contract interfaces, work areas, <br /> schedules, and other coordination requirements. <br /> k. Verify that the Contractor has contacted utilities in the general <br /> construction area and advised them of Contractor's schedule. <br /> ,- Assist in coordinating scheduling of utility activities to minimize <br /> conflicts with Owner's activities. <br /> . <br /> I. Establish and furnish the Contractor with the necessary baseline <br /> and control points which will be used as datum for the work. <br /> Actual construction staking will be done by the Contractor. <br /> m. Visually inspect materials, equipment, and supplies delivered to <br /> the worksite. Reject materials, equipment, and supplies which do <br /> not conform to the construction contract documents. <br /> n. Coordinate onsite materials testing services provided by others <br /> during construction. Copies of testing results will be forwarded to <br /> ~ <br /> Owner and Design Engineer for review and information. <br /> o. Observe field tests of equipment, structures, and piping, and <br /> review the resulting reports for compliance with the contract <br /> drawings and specifications. <br /> 3. Outside Liaison and Public Information Services. <br /> a. Accompany visiting inspectors representing public or other <br /> agencies having jurisdiction 'over the Project. Record the names <br /> of the inspectors, and the results of the inspections. <br /> b. Provide the necessary services in connection with public <br /> information and notification of individual property owners during <br /> construction. <br /> 4. Meetings, Reports, and Document Review and Maintenance. <br /> a. Conduct preconstruction conference and explain administrative <br /> procedures which will be followed during construction. <br /> A-16 <br />
