Attending meetings and developing-data and information required for zoning <br /> and/or plat approvals of construction sites except as included in Basic <br /> Services. <br /> H. Attending additional meetings not specifically included in Basic Services. <br /> I. Providing additional copies of reports and studies. <br /> J. Preparing presentation graphics and/or handouts for public meetings. <br /> 1.6.3 Additional services will be provided by the ENGINEER if authorized by the CITY on <br /> the Authorization of Additional Services form attached to this Agreement as Exhibit A. <br /> Compensation will be given in addition to that specified for Basic Services, in accordance <br /> with Section 12.2 of this Agreement. The approval of the CITY's governing body is <br /> necessary for all additional services the compensation for which exceeds $15,000. <br /> ARTICLE 2 <br /> THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> 2.1 The CITY will: <br /> . <br /> 2.1.1 Provide to the ENGINEER all technical data in the CITY's possession relating to <br /> the ENGINEER's services on the Project. The CITY is responsible for the accuracy and <br /> completeness of the information provided by the CITY. <br /> 2.1.2 Make its facilities accessible to the ENGINEER as required for the ENGINEER's <br /> performance of its services and will provide labor and safety equipment as required by the <br /> ENGINEER for such access. The CITY will perform, at no cost to the ENGINEER, such <br /> tests of equipment, machinery, pipelines, and other components of the CITY's facilities as <br /> may be required in connection with the ENGINEER's services, unless otherwise agreed <br /> to. <br /> 2.1.3 Unless otherwise agreed to in the ENGINEER's Basic Services, obtain, arrange, <br /> and pay for all advertisements for bids; permits and licenses required by local, state, <br /> province, or federal authorities; property ownership information; and land, easements, <br /> rights-of-way, and access necessary for the ENGINEER's services or Project c~nstruction. <br /> 2.1.4 Designate a representative to act in the CITY's behalf with respect to the Project. <br /> The City and/or this representative will review the ENGINEER's studies, reports, sketches, <br /> drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documents; obtain advice of an attorney, <br /> insurance counselor, accountant, auditor, bond and financial advisors, and other <br /> consultants as the CITY deems appropriate; and render in writing decisions required of the <br /> 12 <br />
