<br /> -';2/1 <br /> -2- <br /> 1.1.2. Provide a plan view of the proposed Proj ect route, at an <br /> appropriate scale as it may be revised by the ENGINEER and <br /> CITY. The plan view will include topographic features as <br /> well as the preliminary location of the boundary and easement <br /> lines. <br /> 1.1.3. The final location of the easement will be shown on the final <br /> design. <br /> ~ l.2. PHASE 2 - EASEMENT SURVEYS <br /> I The ENGINEER will: <br /> ' <br /> 1.2.1. Conduct easement surveys along the route proposed in <br /> Subsection 1.3.1 Additional easement surveys will be <br /> performed if conditions require that the route be relocated <br /> or at the City's direction. Any additional easement surveys <br /> required after final design has begun will be considered <br /> additional services under Section 1.7. <br /> 1.2.2. Incorporate the preliminary location of the boundary lines <br /> into the initial topographic survey plan view. <br /> 1. 2.3. Produce a strip map showing the boundary and proposed <br /> easement lines along the route. <br /> . <br /> 1.2.4. Produce individual plats and field note descriptions of each <br /> easement that is to be acquired after the final route has <br /> been determined. The plats and field notes will be prepared <br /> on an 8 1/211 x 1411 format. <br /> 1.3. PHASE 3 - PRELIMINARY DESIGN <br /> The ENGINEER will: <br /> 1. 3.1 Meet with CITY representatives to discuss alternate routes. <br /> The meeting will include on-the-ground reconnaissance. The <br /> route selected will be the basis for the preliminary design. <br /> 1.3.1 Prepare written preliminary Project design and construction <br /> cost estimates for the CITY's review and approval based upon <br /> the proj ect route selected in 1.3.1. Changes to the route <br /> caused by existing conditions will be incorporated into the <br /> Project during the Preliminary Design Phase. <br /> 1. 3.2. Produce the following: <br /> (a) title sheet; <br /> (b) location map; <br /> (c) strip map (1.3.3.); <br /> (d) plan profile sheets of each line segment at 111 = 40' and <br /> 111 = 4' scale; <br /> (e) detail sheets; and <br /> ( f) written construction cost estimates. <br />
