No one else wished to speak, so Mayor
Narvaiz closed the public hearing. Mr. Guerrero moved for approval of
Ordinance on first reading, and Ms. Couch seconded the motion. Mr. O'Leary
stated this is a franchise agreement to allow Centerpoint the use of our
streets and to provide natural gas to the citizens of San Marcos. He stated
this agreement will allow Centerpoint to receive a franchise fee of 30 of
their gross receipts.
