<br />Agreement. <br /> <br />1.1.5 Any prOVISIons in this Agreement pertaining to the City's review, approval and/or <br />acceptance of written materials prepared by the Engineer and/or its subconsultants, contractors, <br />and subcontractors in connection with this Agreement will not diminish the Engineer's <br />responsibility for the materials. <br /> <br />1.1.6 Engineer will perform all of its services in coordination with the City. The Engineer will <br />advise the City of data and information the Engineer needs to perform its services and the <br />Engineer will meet with City representatives at mutually convenient times to assemble this data <br />and information. <br /> <br />1.2 PHASE 1 - DESIGN SERVICES <br /> <br />The Engineer will <br /> <br />1.2.1 Assemble a Project team comprised of the City's representatives and the Engineer's <br />representatives. The Engineer will meet with the Project team to set the design and production <br />schedule and parameters for all subsequent work, to verify the components within which all <br />Project participants must perform, and to identify all parties and significant deadlines involved in <br />the comprehensive schedule strategy. Based on this information, the Engineer will prepare a <br />detailed schedule of its work for the Project addressing each component of the work to be done, <br />indicating the points of involvement of all project participants. The Engineer will conduct <br />monthly progress meetings between the Project team and the Contractor once the construction <br />contract is executed. The Engineer anticipates that up to six of these monthly meetings will be <br />required. <br /> <br />Tank Customization Planning Meeting <br /> <br />1.2.2 Attend a tank customization planning meeting with the City to identify potential unique <br />aspects of the design for the elevated storage tank. The Engineer understands that the current <br />design concept includes a standard, composite tank. The Engineer and the City will discuss <br />items such as, additional floors within the interior of the tank, custom finish-out of the tank <br />interior, requirements for communications connections at the tank (either City desired or <br />potential lease arrangements), and custom painting or other architectural treatments of the tank. <br />The Engineer will provide the City with examples of potential finish out options that have been <br />utilized in other locations. <br /> <br />Geotechnical Investigations <br /> <br />1.2.3 Obtain and review the results of a geotechnical investigation of the subsurface conditions <br />of the Project site. In addition, the Engineer will ensure that the geotechnical investigation <br /> <br />AP AI Elevated Storage Tank <br /> <br />2 <br />
