The Engineer will <br />1.2.1 Develop conceptual designs for the Project that includes areas around and between bank <br />stabilization/river access points (project sites) designated in Attachment A. In addition, the <br />Engineer will clearly label all plans as conceptual designs only. <br />1.2.2 Prepare and provide presentation boards, which will be used at the meetings to inform the <br />community of the design and the City's future plan. The Engineer will provide presentation <br />boards that include full color perspective drawings of the Project area along the San Marcos <br />River and that are clearly labeled to indicate that they are conceptual designs only. <br />1.2.3 Prepare a probable construction cost estimate for project site. <br />1.3 TASK 3 - CONSTRUCTION PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />The Engineer will: <br />1.3.1 Develop site - specific bank stabilization /river access plans for each of the areas listed in <br />Attachment A. The Engineer will use City standard details and general notes where applicable. <br />1.3.2 Prepare technical specifications utilizing the City of San Marcos Standard Specifications <br />with modifications and supplements to the City of Austin Standard Specifications. <br />1.4 TASK 4 — DETAILED COST ESTIMATE <br />The Engineer will: <br />1.4.1 The Engineer will provide a final detailed cost estimate for the Project, including all <br />construction and other related project costs. <br />1.5 TASK 5 - REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL ASSISTANCE <br />The Engineer will: <br />1.5.1 Assist the City in the distribution of the procurement documents to prospective <br />proponents and the preparation of addenda (if any) following City's prior approval. <br />1.5.2 Assist the City in obtaining proposals, tabulating proposals, preparing proposal tabulation <br />forms, and in awarding the contract for construction following the City's approval of the <br />construction contract documents and of the latest detailed final cost estimate of the Project. <br />1.5.3 Assist the City in conducting the pre - proposal conference with potential proponents. <br />During the pre - proposal conference, the Engineer will describe the scope of work; answer <br />pertinent questions of potential proponents and City staff, address requests for additional <br />R EP Agreement I 1 / 12 <br />3 <br />
