91F furnished to the CITY by the Contractor. The extent of the duties, responsibilities and limitations of authority of the ARCHITECT as the CITY's representative during construction will not be modified or extended after the construction contract documents have been authorized by the CITY to be competitively bid without written consent of the CITY and the ARCHITECT and with notice to the Contractor. 1.5 ADDITIONAL SERVICES 1.5.1 Since the ARCHITECT's compensation is a fixed fee for Basic Services, including minor deviations from those described in this Agreement, compensation to the ARCHITECT for additional services will only be for substantial deviations from the scope of services described in this Agreement. 1.5.2 Additional services will be provided by ARCHITECT if authorized or confirmed in writing by the CITY and compensation will be in addition to that specified for Basic Services, in accordance with Section 13.2 of this Agreement. The approval of the CITY's governing body is necessary for all additional services the compensation for which exceeds $15,000. Additional services will include resident project representation beyond that provided as a part of Basic Services. ARTICLE 2 THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES ~ 2.1 The CITY will provide full information to the ARCHITECT regarding requirements for the Project. Such information will include the CITY's design objectives, constraints and criteria, including space requirements and relationships, flexibility and expandability and special equipment and systems. 2.2 The CITY will provide a legal description of the site including a graphic survey of the property with all existing easements, setbacks, and utilities and a topographic survey. The CITY will also provide the results of an environmental assessment of the site prepared under separate contract. 2.3 The CITY will provide a budget for the Project which will include contingencies for bidding, changes in the work during construction, and other costs which are the responsibility of the CITY, including those described in this Article 2 and in Subsection 3.1.2. The ARCHITECT will accept the CITY's authorization to bid the Project as evidence that arrangements exist for the fulfillment of the financial obligations assumed by the CITY hereunder. 2.4 The CITY will designate a representative to act in the CITY's behalf with respect to the Project. The CITY and/or such authorized representative will examine the documents submitted by the ARCHITECT and will render responses pertaining thereto promptly and provide the ARCHITECT with the requested data or information in CITY's possession relating to the Project.
