San Antonio St. Ste. 100, addressed the Council regarding the letter that <br />has recently been circulated and addressed the six points in that letter regarding the comp plan <br />increasing restrictions on the west side of 35, students need to live closer to campus, this needs to <br />be a living document, university and community should respect one another, development be in <br />developing that desire development, we believe the growth of this town. <br />Will Conley, 1200 Thorpe Ln, addressed the Council regarding the Comprehensive Plan and <br />asked that the business community be involved and able to participate in the planning process of <br />this Master Plan. <br />Walter A. Elias, 9737 Great Hills Trail, suite 260, addressed the Council regarding the HBA <br />letter that was provided to the Council and the studies that they provided regarding impervious <br />cover limitations being addressed by the Comprehensive Plan and how they feel it is not the <br />place for those restrictions. <br />Sam Huenergardt, 3100 Summit Ridge Dr, addressed the Council regarding the letter that was <br />provided by the Council on behalf of the business owners here in San Marcos regarding the <br />Comprehensive Plan. He stated that he felt that all of these businesses coming together to agree <br />on those six points should say a lot about how they care about the future of San Marcos. <br />Pam Couch, 203 Sierra Ridge Dr, addressed the Council regarding the Council Member's that <br />voted for the Retreat. She feels that it is beautiful. She also addressed the letter that the business <br />community provided to the Council regarding the Comp Plan and pro growth. She also <br />addressed the Lazy Oaks Ranch development that will be coming forward and that we really <br />need this sort of development. <br />Jaimy Breihan, 134 E. Hillerest, addressed the Council regarding the EAA HPC items and his <br />support for them. He also addressed development and that SF 6 needs to go away. <br />Kate McCarty, 621 W. San Antonio, thanked the Council for allowing her to serve on the Comp <br />Plan Advisory Committee, and thinks that the Council did a masterful job putting together a <br />great steering committee and advisory committee. <br />Jim Garber, 104 Canyon Fork, addressed the Council regarding the Comp Plan and the process. <br />He was skeptical at first and has learned a lot and he stated that all meetings are open and that <br />everyone is invited to attend. He further addressed the points that the business community has <br />posed and that the committee has addressed their issues. <br />Kyle Maysel, 109 E. Hillcrest, addressed the Council regarding item #22 improvements to <br />Hunter Rd. He stated that there was almost universal opposition to the idea of the roundabout. <br />He felt that the City planners would just like to leave their mark with the latest fad, and then they <br />leave. He stated that he felt that this was a bad idea and would not work in that location. <br />
