<br />(ZgJ <br /> <br /> <br />Performance Certification <br /> <br />1.6,11 Prepare a written report, after all facilities of the Project have been placed into <br />service, summarizing observations made during startup of the facility, the operational <br />status of all equipment and systems, any known deficiencies that affect operations or <br />maintenance of the facilities, any continuing operation or performance problems with the <br />new facilities, and any recommended changes to current operational p~ocedures or <br />guidelines after all facilities have been placed into service, All available operation and <br />performance monitoring data will be included and used to support any conclusions or <br />recommendations. <br /> <br />1.6,12 Provide 64 hours of office time and 96 hours of onsite time including 4 trips to the <br />site, to consult concerning the correction of items relating to the operations which the <br />Contractor has not completed. Advise CITY and CM regarding corrections of deficiencies, <br /> <br />1,6.13 At the end óf a one year period following initial startup of the new facilities, inspect <br />the treatment facilities and compile a summary of operation and maintenance records and <br />performance data for the facilities. The data will be used to prepare an analysis of the <br />condition and compare the performance of the facilities during the first year of operation <br />with expected performance and NPDES and TNRCC Discharge Permit limitations. A <br />report will be prepared to summarize the findings and conclusions developed from the <br />inspections and analysis, A certification statement will be prepared stating whether or not <br />the facilities have or are capable of achieving expected performance, <br /> <br />1.7 ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />1.7.1 Any work requested by CITY of the ENGINEER that is not included in <br />Sections 1,2 through 1,6 will be classified as additional services, <br /> <br />1,7.2 Additional services will include, but are not limited to: <br /> <br />(a) Additional meetings with local, State, or Federal agencies to discuss <br />the Project. <br /> <br />(b) Additional appearances at public hearings or before special boards, <br /> <br />(c) Additional engineering work required to meet the requirement~ of <br />regulatory or funding agencies that become effective subsequent to <br />the date of this agreement. <br /> <br />(d) Special consultants or independent professional associates requested <br />or authorized by the CITY, <br /> <br />(e) Assistance with bid protests and rebidding, <br />
