<br /> /ZgL <br /> a substantial amount of defective or neglected work by the <br /> Contractor, (3) alterations to the progress schedule involving service <br /> beyond normal working hours, (4) default by any Contractor, and (5) <br /> failure of the Contractor to complete the work within the construction <br /> contract time, <br /> (r) Evaluation of unusually complex or unreasonably numerous claims <br /> submitted by the Contractor or others in connection with the work, <br /> (s) Review and analysis of claims for differing subsurface and physical <br /> conditions submitted by the Contractor or others in connection with <br /> the work. <br /> 1,7,3 Additional services will be provided by ENGINEER if authorized by the CITY on the <br /> Authorization of Additional Services form attached to this Agreement as Exhibit A. <br /> Compensation will be in addition to that specified for Basic Services, in accordance with <br /> Section 13.2 of this Agreement. The approval of the CITY's governing body is necessary <br /> for all additional services the compensation for which exceeds $15,000, Additional <br /> services will include resident Project representation beyond that provided as a part of Basic <br /> Services, <br /> ARTICLE 2 .¿ <br /> THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> The CITY will: <br /> 2.1 Provide full information to the ENGINEER regarding requirements for the Project. <br /> Such information will include all maps, drawings, reports records, and other data that are <br /> in the files of the CITY; the CITY's design objectives, constraints and criteria, including <br /> space requirements and relationships, flexibility and expandability and special equipment <br /> and systems. <br /> 2.2 Provide a legal description of the site including a graphic survey of the property with <br /> all existing easements, setbacks, and utilities and a topographic survey, <br /> 2.3 Provide a budget for the Project which will include contingencies for bidding, <br /> changes in the work during construction, and other costs which are the responsiþility of the <br /> CITY, including those described in this Article 2 and in Subsection 3,1.2, The ENGINEER <br /> will accept the CITY's authorization to bid the Project as evidence that arrangements exist <br /> for the fulfillment of the financial obligations assumed by the CITY hereunder, <br /> 2.4 Designate a representative to act in the CITY's behalf with respect to the Project <br /> who will have the right of entry to, and have knowledge of, the main pumping station and <br /> wastewater treatment facilities, The CITY and/or such authorized representative will <br /> examine the documents submitted by the ENGINEER and will render responses pertaining <br />
