<br /> )21E <br /> Desion Memorandum <br /> 1.4,1 Prepare a detailed design memorandum and preliminary drawings as required to <br /> establish agreement on scope, parameters, performance, and Project approach and <br /> submit 5 copies of each to the CITY and the CM during a workshop for review and <br /> approval. <br /> 1.4.2 Meet with CITY and CM during a monthly progress meeting and solicit comments <br /> ,,-- on the design memorandum and preliminary drawings. Resolve any questions, revise <br /> documents as required, and resubmit five copies each to the CITY and CM for approval. <br /> 1.4.3 Submit the design memorandum to the CM for distribution to the Texas Water <br /> Development Board ("TWDB"). <br /> 1.4.4 Update and distribute the design memorandum as required during the design <br /> phase, <br /> Final Design/Construction and Procurement Contract Documents <br /> 1.4.5 Prepare final design drawings, specifications and other documents for the <br /> construction of the Project which will include site plans; floor plans; building elevations; <br /> structural system plans; mechanical, electrical, plumbing and lighting system layouts as <br /> needed; utility connection plans; and drainage plans. <br /> 1.4.6 Prepare detailed plans and technical specifications for the separate procurement <br /> of major items of equipment and materials necessary for the Project. Assist the CM in <br /> preparing a major equipment procurement contract in accordance with applicable State law <br /> regarding the procurement of goods. <br /> 1.4.7 Use ENGINEER's best professional judgment to create documents that comply with <br /> all applicable construction and development codes, local regulations and ordinances and <br /> other federal and state regulations which are known or which should reasonably be known <br /> to the ENGINEER including those required under the Americans with Disabilities Act <br /> ("ADA") and Article 9102, V,A.C.S., Architectural Barriers Act. Submit the documents to <br /> the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for review under the Architectural <br /> Barriers Act, if necessary, before construction is set to begin. <br /> 1.4.8 Review all contract documents for completeness, bidability, and constructability. <br /> 1.4,9 Provide three sets each of the construction and procurement contract documents <br /> to CITY and CM for review and approval at the 60 and 90 percent Project completion <br /> points. <br /> 1.4,10 Meet with the CITY and CM to discuss and to resolve any questions after review <br /> of the final contract documents by the CITY and the CM, <br />
