<br /> I VI}- <br />'. <br />2. The City of San Marcos will regrade the landfill surface with <br />soil from stockpiles at the site. <br />3. The Gary Job Corps Center on behalf of the Department of <br />Labor will clean and maintain the drainage system in and adjacent <br />to the landfill area so that rainfall does not accumulate. <br />4. The Department of Labor will relocate heavy equipment and <br />fuel storage tank to a new site acceptable to the City of San <br />Marcos and the Gary Job Corps Center. Department of Labor will <br />remove any fuel contaminated soil. <br />5. Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission will review <br />groundwater data to determine the number, depth, and location of <br />additional downgradient monitoring wells, not to exceed three <br />monitoring wells. The Corps of Engineers will install and <br />develop up to three new wells, 2 inches in diameter, <br />approximately 30-35 feet deep, to current Texas Resource Natural <br />Conservation Commission monitoring well standards. The City of <br />San Marcos will survey the location and elevation of the new <br />monitoring wells. <br /> { <br />6. The City of San Marcos will conduct semi-annual sampling of <br />the residential Norris Well and anaL¥ze for the same parameters <br />selected for the monitoring wells. <br />7. The Potentially Responsible Parties will offer to provide <br />whole-house carbon filters to seven residents downgradient from <br />the landfill. The City of San Marcos will provide letters to the <br />residents explaining the need for the filters and arrange for <br />installation, if requested. Texas Natural Resource Conservation <br />Commission will act as point of contact for concerned citizens. <br />8. Limit analysis of samples of the Norris well and monitoring <br />wells to the following: <br /> a. Previously detected VOCs. <br /> b. Metals that have, in the past, exceeded the 1993 Maximum <br />Contaminant Levels will be analyzed in the first two sampling <br />events. Metal samples will be field filtered. <br /> 2 <br />
