(C) Any wastewater with objectionable color or odor not removed in the treatment process, <br />including but not limited to dye wastes, vegetable tanning solutions and whole blood. <br /> <br />(b) Specific discharge limitations. No person may discharge or cause, suffer, allow or permit to <br />be discharged into any sanitary sewer any of the following: <br /> <br /> (1) Petroleum oil, nonbiodegradable cutting oil or products of mineral oil origin in amounts <br />that will cause interference or pass through. <br /> <br /> (2) Pollutants wbich result in the presence of toxic gases, vapors or fumes within the POTW <br />in a quantity that may cause acute worker safety and health problems. <br /> <br /> (3) Any liquid or vapor having a temperature that will cause worker safety and health <br />problems or that will cause inhibition of biological activity in the POTW resulting in interference <br />or containing heat in quantity causing the temperature at the treatment plant to exceed 40 degrees <br />Centigrade (104 degrees Fakrenheit) unless by prior approval of the approval authority upon <br />request of the control authority for alternate temperature limits. <br /> <br /> (4) Materials having a pH value lower than 6.0 or higher than 11.0 or possessing any other <br />corrosive propelXy capable of causing damage to structures, equipment or personnel at the <br />POTW. <br /> <br /> (5) Any of the following elements in solution or suspension in total concentrations exceeding <br />the limits set as follows: <br /> <br />Parameters Maximum Concentration Limit Allowable, <br /> mg/l (Total) <br /> <br />Aluminum Level will be calculated as needed for <br /> specific industry <br /> <br />Cyanide <br /> <br />0.74 <br /> <br />Arsenic 0.18 <br />Cadmium 0.36 <br />Chromium 1.62 <br />Copper 4.57 <br />Lead 0.65 <br />Mercury 0.01 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br /> <br />
