<br /> lð~c" <br /> 1.2.3 For part A, Upon completion of the final plans, specifications <br /> and contract documents, submit them for CITY and FAA approval and make <br /> a personal visit to FAA and the CITY to facilitate immediate review. <br /> For Part B, whenever preparation of detailed plans and specifications <br /> is approximately 60% complete: <br /> (a) Furnish one (1) copy of all contract drawings and contract <br /> documents and specifications to the CITY, and two (2) copies <br /> of all contract drawings to the FAA for preliminary reVlew <br /> and comments; <br /> (b) Present a statement of the CONSULTANT's estimate of <br /> construction costs, updated to relate to the design developed <br /> at the time; <br /> (c) Attend a conference with representatives of the CITY to <br /> present and discuss the details of the proposed improvements; <br /> (d) Attend a conference with representatives of the FAA to <br /> present and discuss the details of the proposed improvements; <br /> (e) Upon completion of the review conferences, make approved <br /> modifications and additions to the contract drawings and <br /> contract documents and specifications resulting from CITY's <br /> and the FAA's review and the conferences. <br /> (f) Prepare the necessary bidding documents, bidding information, <br /> and bidding forms, using forms provided by the CITY. <br /> 1.2.4 Furnish to the CITY six (6) copies of final iand FAA approved <br /> plans, specifications and contract documents. Additional copies will <br /> be provided, as requested by the CITY, at the CONSULTANT's cost of <br /> reproduction, shipping and incidental expense. <br /> 1.2.5 Prepare a statement of the CONSULTANT's estimate of the <br /> construction costs, based upon the final design developed. The <br /> CONSULTANT's estimate of construction costs will be based on unit <br /> prices prevailing at the time of preparation. <br /> 1.2.6 Prepare and distribute copies of all final design meeting <br /> records to the CITY and the FAA. <br /> 1.2.7 For Part B, develop and submit to the FAA upon submission of <br /> final plans and specifications, an Engineering Summary report defining <br /> the design rationale and generalized information relative to major <br /> design elements including pavement design calculations. Two (2) coples <br /> of this report will be provided to the CITY and one (1) copy will be <br /> provided to the FAA. <br /> 1.2.8 For Part B, prepare and submit to the FAA for approval a <br /> "Construction Materials Quality Control Plan" at the time the final <br /> plans and specifications are submitted. At a minimum, the plan will <br /> list all materials to be tested during construction, the appropriate <br /> time for testing, the ASTM test designation (the name by which the test <br /> is commonly referred), and the frequency of testing required.
