<br /> 1')..10 I <br /> -21- <br /> received city licenses by reciprocal <br /> agreements, including the letter of <br /> reciprocity from the city of original license. <br /> (6) A copy of all reciprocal license agreements <br /> between the city and other jurisdictions. <br /> (7) Minutes and agenda of each board meeting for <br /> the past two (2) years. <br /> (8) Such other records as may be directed by the <br /> board chair, or by action of the board. <br /> Sec. 5-139 to 5-145. Reserved. <br /> Division 3. Electrical Inspector <br /> Sec. 5-146. Qualifications and appointment. <br /> (a) The office of electrical inspector is created and <br /> shall be filled by appointment by the building official. <br /> The building official may serve as the electrical inspector. <br /> (b) The electrical inspector shall pos~ss: <br /> (1) A master electrician's license, issued by the <br /> City and obtained through testing or <br /> reciprocal agreement; <br /> (2) Four (4) years experience as journeyman <br /> electrician and certification as an electrical <br /> inspector by the Southern Building Code <br /> Congress International (SBCCI) , International <br /> Conference of Building Officials (ICBO) , or <br /> International 'Association of Electrical <br /> Inspectors (IAEI); <br /> (3) Ten (10) years experience in the construction <br /> industry, five ( 5) of which must be in a <br /> supervisory capacity involving electrical <br /> installations, and certification as an <br /> electrical inspector by any of the agencies <br /> listed in subdivision (2) above; or <br /> (4) A degree in electrical engineering or <br /> registration as an electrical engineer in the <br /> state of Texas, and certification as an <br /> electrical inspector by any of the agencies <br /> listed in subdivision (2) above. <br /> The electrical inspector shall be well versed in the <br /> contents of this Article. <br /> (c) No person shall perform the duties of electrical <br /> inspector unless qualified in the manner described in (b) <br /> above or supervised by the electrical inspector in the <br /> performance of those duties. <br /> ! <br /> (d) If the electrical inspector is unable to perform his <br /> or her duties, and there is no other available qualified <br /> inspector, the chair of the electrical board shall designate <br /> two members of the electrical board to jointly perform the <br /> duties of the electrical inspector until an electrical <br /> inspector is appointed. <br /> Sec. 5-147.
