It is the responsibility of the vendor to <br /> cooperate with other trades in order to achieve well-coordinated <br /> progress and satisfactory final results. <br /> 3.17 Run all microphone level lines in separate conduits dedicated <br /> to these purposes. Provide adequate service loops for all <br /> equipment. All service loops shall be bundled with Woltrex or <br /> equivalent cable wrap. <br /> 3.18 Wire and cable shall be as called for by the manufacturer of <br /> specified equipment items or by these specifications. wire and <br /> cable shall be new and unused. Any cable that does not travel <br /> within conduit must be equivalent specified and meet National <br /> Electric Code for fire retardance and all city, county and fire <br /> building codes. <br /> A. 70 Volt speaker wire shall be West-Penn 224 or approved <br /> equivalent. <br /> B. Microphone wire, installed but not portable, and wire for <br /> line-level circuits and interamplifier wire shall be <br /> West-Penn 452 or approved equivalent. <br /> 3.19 Ground and bond all racks and associated eqÛipment. <br /> 3.20 Microphone and line input jacks shall be new, switchcraft <br /> QGp-series or approved equivalent, three conductor, female <br /> connectors. Output jacks to be male connectors. <br /> 3.21 Where discrepancies between the drawings and specifications <br /> or specifications and equipment, the greater quantity or better <br /> quality shall be furnished. <br /> 3.22 Supply adequate ventilation for all enclosed equipment items <br /> which produce heat. . <br /> 3.23 Successful proponent will provide for all cabling and <br /> connections, wall plates, including all necessary connectors, to <br /> existing City of San Marcos equipment. Successful proponent is <br /> responsible for all cables, cabling and connectors between all <br /> equipment and terminations. <br /> 3.24 Complete installation is to be documented and Ifas builtll <br /> drawings to be provided to owner by installer within 30 days of <br /> acceptance of installation. <br /> 3.25 Observe proper circuit polarity and loudspeaker wiring <br /> polarity. Properly and clearly label connections and wires as to <br /> function and polarity. No cables will be wired with polarity <br /> 9 <br />
