Take care when wiring <br /> microphone cables to insure that constant polarity is maintained. <br /> wires shall be connected as follows: <br /> Signal Color pin # Phone Plug Conn. <br /> shield Bare or Clear 1 Sleeve <br /> high Black 2 Tip <br /> low Red or White 3 Ring <br /> 3.26 Clearly and permanently label ALL jacks, controls, <br /> connections and equipment with permanently engraved laminated <br /> plastic labels or by engraving and filling mounting plates, unless <br /> otherwise indicated. Do not use embossed or printed label tape. Do <br /> not use press-on or lift-off lettering systems. Attach labels with <br /> contact cement, being careful to clean off excess or visible <br /> cement. <br /> 3.27 Upon completion of installation and prior to acceptance, all <br /> equipment shall be thoroughly cleaned and made free from extraneous <br /> bits of soldier, wire, etc. by the successful proponent. Successful <br /> proponent shall clean up work area and remove ALL wasteand trash. <br /> Debris resulting from the installation shall be removed from all <br /> areas and disposed of by the successful proponent. <br /> ~ <br /> 4.0 INSTALLATION SPECIFICS <br /> 4.1 Provide for 12 microphones installed in council chambers (1 <br /> for each position on dias, 1 for podium). Microphones located on <br /> the dias must be installed within the dias. Shock mounts are to be <br /> located underneath dias with a hole drilled through for gooseneck. <br /> Provide microphone on/off push buttons (11) eleven (hold down to <br /> turn off, release to turn on) on the edge of the dias in <br /> eachposition. <br /> 4.2 Provide one (1) zone for twelve (12) loudspeakers, located in <br /> ceiling, operating at 70 Volt line level for the chambers. Provide <br /> for one speaker and attenuation in city Manager's office and <br /> Conference room. <br /> 4.3 Provide cabling and connections for 4-channel recorder using <br /> mixer 4-channel output. Recorder is owner provided. <br /> 4.4 Provide two Press feeds located in baseboard of dias as <br /> described in drawing. Feeds must be balanced, isolated and 600 ohm <br /> line level. <br /> 4.5 Provide automatic microphone mixing for 16 sixteen inputs. <br /> 10 <br />
