Annette Deaver, Blanco River Ranch Rd, She addressed the Council regarding the fast track <br />zoning and asked them to deny this change. She stated that the Council would be eliminating the <br />due process and public input. <br />Jay Heibert, San Marcos, addressed the Council regarding the rezoning efforts in this <br />community. He asked that the Council vote no on the ordinance. <br />Jane Hughson, 1600 N LBJ, passing this ordinance could cause unintended consequences she <br />asked that the Council delay their decision, and not approve this ordinance as it is currently <br />written. <br />Susan Sullivan, San Marcos, addressed the Council regarding the importance of zoning, and <br />asked the Council to not approve this item as written. <br />Nancy Moore, San Marcos, addressed the Council to deny the ordinance and not to fast track <br />development in our community. She asked for them to fast track our youth master plan and not <br />ruin our town. <br />Dianne Coffee, San Marcos, addressed the Council and asked them to deny this ordinance as <br />written. <br />David Wendel, 118 E. Holland, addressed the Council and he spoke in opposition of the <br />ordinance. <br />Jeana Fleming, San Marcos, addressed the Council and stated that she did not support this <br />ordinance and felt that it is not respecting zoning regulations. <br />Lisa Pruitt, San Marcos, spoke in opposition on this ordinance. She feels that this would have a <br />lot of unintended consequences. <br />Jaimy Breihan, San Marcos, addressed the Council and spoke in opposition of this ordinance. <br />Jim Garber, San Marcos, addressed the Council regarding the timing of the ordinance and he <br />spoke against it. <br />Joan Bird, San Marcos, addressed the Council and spoke in opposition to this ordinance. <br />Bridgette Phillips, San Marcos, addressed the Council and spoke against the ordinance. She <br />mentioned that this would be taking away her rights to be informed. <br />There being no further comments; the public hearing was closed at 8:07 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Becak and a second by Council Member <br />Scott, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to postpone Ordinance 2013- <br />09, and directed Staff to place a workshop on a future date. The motion carried unanimously. <br />
