Dianne Wassenich, 11 Tanglewood, addressed the Council regarding Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and the climate change article that was recently in the local paper. It stated that our risk <br />is greater of having a 15 inch rain has increased. She asked that the Council not approve this <br />proj ect. <br />Rachel Betts, 209 Comanche St, addressed the Council regarding Cape's Camp rezoning project, <br />and asked the Council deny this project and wait for the Comprehensive Plan to be approved <br />first. She also provided Council with a handout regarding green spaces. <br />Joan Bird, 1201 Thorp Lane, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning project <br />and asked the Council deny this project. She stated that that area does flood and it's not a safe <br />area to build. <br />Ann Whitus, 108 Spring Hollow Cove, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp <br />rezoning project and asked them to consider the message that they are projecting. She continued <br />by asking the Council to deny this request. <br />Jerry Glawson, 610 River Road, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project. He stated that the seller has a legal right to sell, and the buyer has a legal right to buy it. <br />He asked that the Council approve this project. <br />011ie Giles, 524 Valley St, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning project <br />and asked that the Council deny this project and make it a park. <br />Melissa Derrick,109 Kathryn Cove, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and asked that the Council deny this request. <br />Don Eyssen, 200 Orchard, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning project <br />and showed a video of the 1998 flood in the area. <br />Jim Simons, 207 W. Sierra Circle, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project, and asked that the Council deny this project because families are leaving this area and <br />being replaced by students. <br />Carlos Cedillo, 590 Cross River St, New Braunfels, TX, addressed the Council regarding the <br />Cape's Camp rezoning project and that the Council deny this request, and look at what is best for <br />the community. <br />David Wendel, 118 E. Holland, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and provided the Council with the various 500 and 100 year floods that have affected that <br />area. He asked the Council to deny the request. <br />Corinne Bosley, 601 River Road, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and stated that she was for the parkland and not the apartments. She asked that the <br />Council deny this project. <br />
