Diana Tupia, 1028 Martin Luther King Dr, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp <br />rezoning project and the ecosystem around the river. She asked that the Council deny this <br />project. <br />Jennifer Conway - Roberts, 600 Conway Dr, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp <br />rezoning project. She told the Council of her family's history in the area and the flooding that <br />has occurred there. She stated that the Council should deny this project. <br />Juanita Varquez, 622 Conway Dr, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project. She told the Council how she was affected by the 1998 flood, and stated that the <br />Council should deny this project. <br />Blanca Lloya, 60 Amy Lane, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning project <br />and stated that this project would push all the flood waters down into the adjacent neighborhood. <br />She stated her concerns about the kids and the incoming drugs and alcohol that will accompany <br />the development. <br />Renee Perez, addressed inaudible, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and the history of the San Marcos River. He asked that the Council deny the project. <br />Jim Garber, 104 Canyon Fork, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project. He addressed the flooding of human occupation by the river and flood plain. He asked <br />that the Council deny this request. <br />Derrick Lee, 209 S. Comanche, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and how he had to repeatedly tell people not to trespass on the land. He continued by <br />telling the Council about his repeated clean ups in that area. He stated that without the additional <br />enforcement there is no way to keep this area clean. He asked that Council do the right thing. <br />Vincent Debrock, 100 W. Hillcrest, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and asked that the Council preserve what we have. He stated that we need to put the <br />right thing in the right place. <br />Jenny Fleming, 1013 Dartmouth, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and asked that the Council wait until the Comprehensive Master Plan is completed before <br />making such decisions. She asked that the Council deny this request. <br />Patrick Duran, 110 W. Hillcrest, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and asked the Council to deny this project and to protect the San Marcos River. He <br />stated that the river is our competitive advantage in the IH 35 corridor and has to be protected. <br />Betty Richards, 127 Rivera, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning project <br />asked the Council to deny this project and protect the river. <br />
