Larry Mock, 107 Canyon Road, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and asked the Council to vote no. <br />Laura (last name inaudible), New Braunfels, TX, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's <br />Camp rezoning project and the protection of the river. <br />Ken (last name inaudible), 1101 Leah Ave, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp <br />rezoning project and asked that the Council deny this project. He asked that the Council <br />consider the future of San Marcos. <br />Arlis Hiebert, 209 W. Sierra Circle, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and asked that the Council deny the project instead of placing an apartment complex on <br />the Cape's Camp property. <br />Mary Lou Villarreal, 105 Saltillo St, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and asked the Council to listen to the people and deny this project. <br />Nancy Moore, 15 Tanglewood, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and asked that the Council deny this project and protect this area. <br />Chad Williams, 814 N. Bishop, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project. He stated that he was for the rights of the owners to sell it, but felt that you can't just do <br />whatever you want with this property. He stated that we should encourage better development to <br />come in to this area and wait until it does. <br />Douglas Beckett, 714 Barbara Dr, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and his concerns about the increased population brought to the area by students. He <br />stated his concerns about the increased traffic and those impacts. <br />Tori Carlisle, 1041 Sycamore St, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and asked that the Council to deny this project and protect the river. <br />Joe Johnson, 137 LBJ Dr, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning project <br />and asked that the Council follow the citizen's wishes and deny this project. <br />Lisa Prewitt, 619 Maury, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning project. <br />She provided pictures of the 1998 flood. She stated her concerns about the increased damage to <br />be caused by flooding if this complex is built. She asked that the Council be smart about this <br />decision. <br />Ron Hart, 1660 W. McCarty Ln, addressed the Council regarding the Cape's Camp rezoning <br />project and that it is a very well thought out PDD and that Staff played hardball throughout the <br />process. He thanked the Council for their patience in hearing everyone. <br />There being no further comments the public hearing was closed at 9:48 p.m. <br />
