<br /> Ilb;4~ <br /> 8.0 System Performance Requirements <br /> 8.01 Scope. <br /> The purpose of this section of the Request for Proposal is to present, in detail, ~. <br /> the performance requirements that must be met for (a) the initial acceptance of <br /> the Interactive Computer System for the Automation of Municipal Court and <br /> (b) the ongoing operation of the system. These performance requirements will <br /> be incorporated into the final contractual agreement between the City and <br /> successful vendor. It is important that the vendor review these requirements <br /> and, in addition to all other information presented in the proposal, configure <br /> the proposed system, hardware and software, to successfully operate at the <br /> designated levels when exposed to these perfonnance criteria. <br /> In order to be awarded the contract, the vendor must agree to provide an <br /> automated system which can meet, where appropriate, the following five (5) <br /> examinations. Final payment on the automation contract will be withheld <br /> until all of the initial perfonnance tests have been successfully completed. <br /> All communication regarding the passing or failing of an examination must be <br /> in writing between the City and vendor, with the date and outcome of the <br /> examination noted in writing. <br /> ~ <br /> 8.02 System Hardware Quality Examination - Test 1. <br /> After installation of the computer hardware in Municipal Court, a hardware <br /> quality examination will be perfonned. This test must be ~onducted <br /> immediately upon the completion of the computer hardware installation. <br /> Designated City personnel must be present for the test. <br /> A. Central Processing Unit operating properly <br /> , <br /> B, Disk storage devices operating properly <br /> C. Backup system operating properly <br /> D. All peripheral devices operating properly utilizing self diagnostic tests <br /> E. If system fails to meet the System Hardware Quality Examination, the <br /> vendor must resolve the problem and repeat examination until the <br /> system meets the test requirements. <br /> 8.03 System Functional Competence Examination - Test 2. <br /> The System Functional Competence Examination is a test to detennine if the <br /> RFP 94-00 I <br /> Page 37 <br />
