116A9 required functional capabilities of the system are present and available for use. Upon completion of Test I, Section 8.02, the vendor will demonstrate to the City the operation of each functional capability and the ability of the system to produce all printed reports and notices as required by the City's RFP and the vend<?r's responsive proposal. If the system fails to meet the Functional Competence Examination, the vendor must resolve and rectify the problem to the City's satisfaction within the time frame specified by the City. 8.04 System Storage Capacity Examination - Test 3. The system storage capacity examination is an ongoing quality examination requiring that the vendor provide a minimum storage capacity (while maintaining all other system perfonnance criteria) based on the projected number of records for the initial five (5) years of the system. The City does not have the expertise nor knowledge of proprietary infonnation sufficient to allow for the prediction of storage capacity requirements. It is required, therefore, that vendor contractually guarantee that the levels of data specified can be efficiently stored on the system. The system shall be required to store the following number of records, taking into account all indexes and cross reference files. Assume the City will not purge any data from the database for a five (5) year periÔd. A. Parking tickets - 5,102 B. Citation records - 318.548 C. Warrants - 12.742 Should the system not have sufficient storage capacity. it shall be the responsibility of the vendor to provide. at their expense, data storage and main memory devices sufficient to accomplish this. The City will be responsible for the maintenance of the hardware. In addition, the hardware must meet the minimum General Requirements in Section 7.02. 8.05 System Full Load Response Time and Processing Capacity Examination - Test 4 This examination is an ongoing test to detennine if sufficient hardware and software resources have been provided by vendor to achieve the minimum levels of response time and processing capacity perfonnance. This examination will remain in effect for the duration of the contract and remain the mechanism to establish and document acceptable and unacceptable system response time perfonnance. The City may call for this test at anytime during the five (5) year contract. A one month written notice to the vendor will be provided prior to administering this examination after the initial acceptance of RFP 94-00 1 Page 38
