<br /> (4) The information contained in the application is found <br /> to be false or incorrect in any material respect. <br /> (e) Each permit shall be subj ect to, and shall state, the <br /> following conditions: <br /> (I) All materials used in the construction of floats <br /> shall be subject to requirements concerning fire <br /> safety as may be determined by the fire chief; <br /> (2) The permittee shall advise all participants in the <br /> parade either orally or by written notice, of the <br /> terms and conditions of the permit, prior to the <br /> commencement of the parade; <br /> (3) No participant in the parade may deviate from the <br /> parade route as it is described in the permit <br /> application; <br /> (4) The parade shall continue to move at a fixed rate of <br /> speed not exceeding IØ miles per hour and any delay <br /> or stopping by any participant in the parade, except <br /> when reasonably required for the safe and orderly <br /> conduct of the parade, shall constitute a violation <br /> of the permit; and, <br /> (5) Such other requirements as are found by the chief of <br /> police to be reasonably necessary for the protection <br /> of persons or property. <br /> (f) Upon a denial by the chief of police of an application <br /> for a permit, the applicant may appeal from such denial <br /> within five (5) days thereafter to the city council by <br /> filing with the city secretary a written notice of <br /> appeal for hearing by the city council. Upon such <br /> appeal, the city council may reverse, affirm, or modify <br /> in any regard the determination of the chief of police. <br /> (g) Immediately upon the issuance of a parade permit, the <br /> chief of police shall send a copy thereof to the <br /> following: <br /> (1) The city manager; <br /> ( 2) The fire chief; <br /> (3) The director of public works; <br /> (4) The traffic engineer. <br /> (h) A parade permit issued under this section may be revoked <br /> by the chief of police if a violation of any condition of <br /> the permit occurs, or if, by reason of disaster, public <br /> calamity, riot, or other emergency, the chie f of police <br /> determines that the safety of the public requires such <br /> revocation. Notice of the revocation shall be delivered <br /> in writing to the permittee by personal service or by <br /> certified mail. Upon revocation, a permittee may appeal <br /> the decision in the same manner as provided in subsection <br /> (f) of this Section for denial of a permit. <br /> ( i) No person shall participate in a parade that violates the <br /> term.s of the permit, or participate in a parade without <br /> the consent of the permittee, or interfere ln any manner <br /> with its progress or orderly conduct. <br /> Sec. 29-25 to Sec. 29-38.
