<br /> The CONSULTANT shall provide the CITY with a handheld, portable <br /> bar code reader manufactured by the Texlon Corporation that allows for <br /> the input of location information, such as site/property, building, <br /> floor, department, room, etc. The asset tag number shall be either <br /> wanded into storage by use of the bar code scanner or by keyboard entry <br /> if the tag is not scannable. The output of the bar code reader shall <br /> be down-loaded into the City's computer system for direct input into a <br /> fixed asset system. The CONSULTANT will format the output of the bar <br /> code reader to be compatible with the CITY's fixed asset system. <br /> 2.7.5 Reports provided by the CONSULTANT shall segregate <br /> non-insurable property. All reports submitted to the CITY shall be <br /> laser printed on 8 1/2" x 11" loose-leaf bond paper. <br /> 2.8 ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> Since the compensation of the CONSULTANT under this Agreement is <br /> based on a fixed fee that includes expenses, the prospects for the <br /> charging by the CONSULTANT for additional services are remote and will <br /> necessarily pertain only to substantial deviations from the scope of <br /> services described in this Agreement or in the CONSULTANT's proposal of <br /> services to the CITY. <br /> Should the CONSULTANT conclude that additional professional effort <br /> is necessary in order to complete the project in accordance with the <br /> agreed upon specifications, the CONSULTANT shall notify' the CITY <br /> immediately. Additional services shall be provided only if authorized <br /> or confirmed in writing by the CITY, and compensation shall be in <br /> addition to that specified in Paragraph 12.1. <br /> ARTICLE 3 <br /> REnmURSABLE EXPENSES <br /> 3.l Reimbursable expenses are to be charged to the CITY by the <br /> CONSULTANT at actual cost and shall include such things as expenses for <br /> transportation, equipment, travel, communications, subsistence, and <br /> lodging away from home, reproduction and similar incidentals. <br /> Reimbursable expenses are only to be paid for additional services in <br /> accordance with Paragraph 2.8 of this Agreement and only with CITY 's <br /> prior approval. These expenses are to be charged to the CITY at actual <br /> cost and shall include such things as expenses for transportation, <br />
