<br /> Improvement Project ("A.I.P.). The Summary will include a <br /> certification that all testing was completed in accordance with the <br /> "Construction Materials Quality Control Plan." <br /> 1.4.19 The CONSULTANT shall prepare a summary of materials not passing <br /> acceptable standards which specifies the penalty to be imposed as <br /> called for in the Contract. <br /> This summary shall be submitted to the FAA monthly and will indicate <br /> when and to what extent penalties are imposed. The penalties assessed <br /> will be itemized in the subsequent pay request to the FAA. <br /> 1. 5. PHASE 4-COHSmUCTIOH IHSPE<:-rIOH <br /> Resident or full-time on-site inspection shall be performed by the <br /> CONSULTANT, or an approved sub-contractor. The resident inspector <br /> shall perform daily resident inspection, maintain daily inspection log <br /> book, write weekly inspection reports, coordinate all construction <br /> activities with the CITY, coordinate and inspect all materials and <br /> soils testing, coordinate and review all test reports submitted by the <br /> testing laboratory, maintain records and trip tickets on all materials, <br /> review periodic contractor payment requests and wage reports, accompany <br /> all surveying proofs of contractor established staking. Additional <br /> work will be accomplished as required by CITY. The exact scope of <br /> resident inspection services and the fees for such services shall be <br /> established by the CITY and the CONSULTANT during Phase 2 of each <br /> Program, subject to FAA approval. Payment for these services shall be <br /> made in accordance with Paragraphs 1.6 and 13.2 pertaining to <br /> Additional Services. <br /> 1.6 ADDITIOHAL SERVICES <br /> The professional services set forth hereinafter as Additional <br /> Services are not included as part of the services to be provided by the <br /> CONSULTANT under Article 1. In the event that consulting services <br /> beyond that specified under Article 1 are necessary, the work shall be <br /> performed as Additional Services. Additional Services shall be <br /> provided only if authorized or confirmed in writing by CITY, and <br /> compensation shall be in addition to that specified for basic services, <br /> in accordance with Paragraph 13.2 of this Agreement. <br /> -10- <br />
