<br /> with final design and preparation of contract drawings and <br /> specifications for each of the three Programs, the CONSULTANT shall: <br /> 1.3.1 Furnish to the CITY, where required, the engineering data <br /> necessary for applications for routine permits required by local, <br /> State, and Federal authorities. <br /> 1.3.2 Prepare detailed contract drawings on drafting vellum or mylar <br /> film, and/or photographic reproducible mylar film, and prepare the <br /> specifications and contract documents for construction of the Project, <br /> using the applicable documents as furnished by the CITY. <br /> 1.3.3 Whenever preparation of detailed plans and specification are <br /> approximately 60% complete, the CONSULTANT shall: <br /> (a) Furnish one (1) copy of all contract drawings and contract <br /> documents and specifications to the CITY, and two (2) copies <br /> of all contract drawings to the FAA for preliminary review <br /> and comments; <br /> (b) Present a statement of the CONSULTANT's estimate of <br /> construction costs, updated to relate to the design developed <br /> at the time; <br /> (c) Attend a conference with representatives of the CITY to <br /> present and discuss the details of the proposed improvements; <br /> (d) Attend a conference with representatives of the FAA to <br /> present and discuss the details of the proposed improvements; <br /> (e) Upon completion of the review conferences, the CONSULTANT <br /> will make approved modifications and additions to the <br /> contract drawings and contract documents and specifications <br /> resulting from CITY's and the FAA's review and the <br /> conferences. <br /> (f) Prepare the necessary bidding documents, bidding information, <br /> and bidding forms, using forms provided by the CITY. <br /> 1.3.4 Furnish the CITY fifteen (l5) copies of final and FAA approved <br /> contract drawings and specifications. Additional copies will be <br /> provided, as requested by the CITY, at the CONSULTANT's cost of <br /> reproduction, shipping and incidental expense. <br /> 1.3.5 Prepare a statement of the CONSULTANT's estimate of the <br /> construction costs, based upon the final design developed. The <br /> CONSULTANT's estimate of construction costs will be based on unit <br /> prices prevailing at the time of preparation. The CONSULTANT will not <br /> be required to guarantee the accuracy of the cost estimates. <br /> 1.3.6 Prepare and distribute copies of all final design meeting <br /> records to the CITY and the FAA. <br /> 1.3.7 Develop and submit to the FAA upon submission of final plans and <br /> specifications, an Engineering Summary report defining the design <br /> -4- <br />
