Various staging and combinations of the above options. <br /> 1.3.11 On the basis of the above analysis, select the five or six <br /> most feasible alternatives for further evaluation; <br /> 1. 3 . 12 Collect and analyze raw water quality data from the sources <br /> considered and assess the water source relative to the current and <br /> anticipated future Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) regulations. <br /> 1.3.13 Develop implementation schedules for each alternative water <br /> supply scenario and assess the feasibility of each alternative in terms <br /> of ability to become a City and regional water treatment facility. The <br /> assessment will include a potable water market survey and a market <br /> boundary description for each alternative; <br /> 1.3.14 Develop detailed estimated total costs (capital costs plus <br /> present worth of estimated future operation and maintenance costs) for <br /> each alternative and prepare an alternative evaluation matrix. The <br /> matrix will contain weighting factors with which the CITY agrees; and <br /> 1. 3 . 15 Recommend and provide a detailed description of the most <br /> cost-effective alternative for the CITY's consideration. A report <br /> presenting the findings of the surface water alternatives study shall <br /> be prepared by the ENGINEER and submitted to the CITY for review. <br /> 1.4 WA"rER DIS'.rRIBtrrIOR SYSTEII I:HTEGRA~IOR <br /> The ENGINEER shall: <br /> 1.4.1 Review the CITY's current distribution system facilities and <br /> operations; <br /> 1.4.2 Evaluate compatibility of the existing ground water to the <br /> proposed surface water; <br /> 1.4.3 Develop a surface water integration strategy and evaluate <br /> alternative modifications to the distribution system which are <br /> consistent with this strategy; <br /> 1.4.4 Prepare descriptions and cost estimates for the alternative <br /> modifications to the distribution system. <br /> 1.5 SITE SELEC'rIOR/PRELDlIRARY PLAln DESIGR <br /> The ENGINEER shall: <br />
