<br /> 9~T <br /> Section 3.70 - Call Out Duty: <br /> All employees may be called to report for duty outside of normal duty hours. Some <br /> employees may be required by their department director to be available by physical or <br /> electronic means to respond to call-outs after normal duty hours. Employees who are on call <br /> are not to remain at their work site. <br /> Non-exempt employees who are required to report for duty within a specified amount of <br /> time, although not on active duty, will be paid time and one half (1 1/2) their regular hourly <br /> rate for hours actually worked. Non-exempt employees will be paid for a minimum of two <br /> hours of work when called to duty, however if sequential calls are received during the period <br /> of time the work is being performed an additional two hours call out will not be paid. <br /> Section 3.80 - Terminal Pay: <br /> .. <br /> Non-civil service employees who terminate employment prior to completing their <br /> introductory period are NOT eligible to receive vacation pay at termination. Employees who <br /> resign or are discharged prior to completion of the introductory period will bear the expense <br /> of the post employment offer physical examination deducted from their final paycheck. Upon <br /> termination all regular full time employees who resign in "good standing" (See Page 56 - <br /> I <br /> Section 10.10 - Resignation) will be compensated for unused vacation leave time up to a <br /> maximum of thirty (30) days (240 hours). Regular part time employees will be compensated <br /> for unused vacation leave time up to a maximum of thirty (30) days commensurate with the <br /> number of scheduled hours worked. The employee must work the final two weeks in order <br /> to receive compensation for accrued leave. Employees hired prior to October 1, 1980 are <br /> eligible for payment of accumulated sick bank.
