<br />I <br /> <br />1.4 <br /> <br />d) Digital photos of pertinent features. <br /> <br />TASK 3 - PRELIMINARY DESIGN <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.4.1 Provide the City review documents at the pre-design phase, (considered approximately 50 <br />percent complete) and the final design phase, (considered approximately 90 percent complete). <br />Our internal review team will review the project design at all stages of the project with emphasis <br />on the 50 percent and 90 percent submitted documents. <br /> <br />1.4.2 Pipeline Plan and Profile Pre-Design. Prepare 11" x 17" plan and profile sheets showing <br />the following information: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br />d) <br />e) <br />f) <br />g) <br />h) <br />i) <br /> <br />Alignment in plan and preliminary profile; <br />Pipeline appurtenances (air valves, blow-offs, in-line valves, etc.); <br />Topographic contours; <br />Assessor map level of accuracy property lines and land owners; <br />Key existing easement lines that parallel the pipe; <br />City and county boundaries; <br />Major utilities affecting alignment; <br />Names of existing roads, creeks, and other relevant features; <br />Other important features of project such as survey control points and geotechnical <br />test holes and test pits. <br /> <br />1.4.3 Establish pipeline standard details and master specifications. The standard details and <br />master specifications created as part of this task will be the initial version of these documents. It <br />is expected that these items will be revised/refined during final design. <br /> <br />1.4.4 Standard Details: Standard details will be based on the City's established standard details. <br />If the City's standard details are not available, the Engineer will propose using its standard <br />details. Engineer standard details will not be used without prior approval from the City. <br />Standard details will include: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />a) Pipe Details (outlets, joints, bulkheads, pipe wall section, etc.); <br />b) Trench Section (bedding and backfill types); <br />c) In-line Valves (schematic typical only); <br />d) Manhole details; <br />e) Creek Crossings (tunneled and open cut); <br />f) Tunnels; and <br />g) Miscellaneous Details (utility crossing support, aqueduct survey monuments, <br />etc.). <br /> <br />1.4.5 Base the pre-design phase on the Engineer's Master Specifications. <br /> <br />Davis Lane Wastewater Improvements Project- CH2M Hill <br /> <br />5 <br />
