<br />1.4.6 Prepare preliminary technical specifications for major equipment items to include pump <br />and motor, major valves and operators, and control equipment. <br /> <br />1.4.7 Consult and coordinate with the City specify instrumentation and control requirements <br />for the pump station and prepare schematic pumping station piping and instrumentation drawing <br />(P&ID). In addition, the Engineer will prepare schematic pumping station control logic <br />descriptions. <br /> <br />1.4.8 Consult and coordinate with the City to develop an implementation plan for integrating <br />the upgraded pumping station into the existing SCADA system. The Engineer will review and <br />verify concepts with City staff and will document the overall integration concept, required <br />system modifications, implementation activities and responsibilities, and rough implementation <br />schedule. <br /> <br />1.4.9 Provide the following deliverables for this Task. <br /> <br />a) Pre-design plan and profile sheets; <br />b) Pre-design standard details; <br />c) Pre-design master specifications; and <br />d) Pre-design review meeting. <br /> <br />1.5 TASK 4 - FINAL DESIGN <br /> <br />This task includes the preparation of plans, specifications for insertion into bid-ready <br />contract documents, and a construction cost estimate. The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.5.1 Assist the City in the preparation of construction contract documents using City forms <br />based on the approved design development documents and any further adjustments authorized by <br />the City in the scope, quality or budget of the Proj ect. The Engineer will use its best professional <br />judgment to create technical documents that comply with applicable construction and <br />development codes, local regulations and ordinances and other federal and state regulations <br />which are known or which should reasonably be known to the Engineer. <br /> <br />1.5.2 Prepare detailed plans/construction drawings for the Project to include general drawings; <br />plan and profile drawings; special and standard project details; site plans; structural, mechanical, <br />electrical, and survey control layout as required for the Project to be accurately bid and <br />efficiently constructed. The Engineer will utilize the City's Standard Construction Notes during <br />development of the construction drawings. <br /> <br />1.5.3 Prepare construction drawings that meet the following requirements: <br /> <br />a) Full-size plans will be on standard D size (22 by 34-inch); <br />b) Plan and profile drawings will be I inch = 20 feet horizontal and 1 inch = 10 feet <br />vertical along the pipeline route; <br /> <br />DaVIS Lane Wastewater Improvements Project - CH2M Hill <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />
