(1) M/E/P ( 2) Structural ( 3) Civil (4) Landscaping (5) Life Safety The ARCHITECT shall notify the CITY prior to retaining consulting firms other than those identified in the ARCHITECT's proposal for services. The ARCHITECT shall be responsible to the City for all work performed by Consultants. Fees for the ARCHITECT's procurement of these services are included in the ARCHITECT's basic fee described in Article 13 of this Agreement. 0.1 STAImARDS OF PERFORDRCE , QUALITY COlft'ROL AIm SCBEDULIRG 0.1.1 In the performance of all architectural services in connection with this Agreement, the ARCHITECT shall use that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised for similar projects by professional architects who possess special expertise in the type of work involved in this Project. 0.1.2 The ARCHITECT shall assign a quality control team, composed of senior members of its staff who are not associated with the Project on a daily basis, to the Project. This team will review the Project on a regular basis in order to insure a high level of quality, to maintain a high degree of excellence and clarity in all aspects of the planning and design phases, to assure that qualified backup personnel are immediately available should the need arise, to avoid errors and omissions, code or regulatory violations, misinformation, misinterpretation and inconsistencies, and to take advantage of all of the ARCHITECT's available experience, including the planning, architectural, and engineering experience of the senior members of the ARCHITECT's staff. 0.1.3 The ARCHITECT shall, during the initial Project phase, meet with the City's designated representatives to verify the time components within which all Project participants must perform, and to identify all parties involved in the comprehensive schedule strategy. Based on this information, the ARCHITECT shall prepare a detailed schedule of its work for the Project addressing each component of the -2-
