<br /> Page 4 <br /> by means of notices attached to storage containers shall not be <br /> used. In addition, at least thirty (30) days in advance of its <br /> implementation, the CONTRACTOR shall provide the CITY or its duly <br /> authorized representative with pertinent schedules for the <br /> locations affected by the change. <br /> 2.3.1 The CONTRACTOR shall not be required to collect: <br /> 1. Materials not placed in approved containers. <br /> 2. Materials not specified for recycling. <br /> 2.3.2 The CONTRACTOR shall notify the Director of all recyclable <br /> materials left and the reason for it. The Director shall <br /> investigate all "no pickups" and advise the customer of the <br /> reasons, or inform the CONTRACTOR that he is required to pick up <br /> the material. The Director's decision shall be final. COH'rRAcroR <br /> shall discontinue recyclable collection service to any location as <br /> set forth in a written notice sent to the CONTRACTOR by the <br /> Director. Upon further notification by the Director, the <br /> CORTRAcroR shall resume collection service at the location on the <br /> next regularly scheduled collection day. <br /> 2.3 STORAGE COB'l'AIRERS Prior to the start-up of the collection <br /> service the CONTRACTOR shall provide each residential unit within <br /> the contract area with a fourteen (14) gallon heavy duty plastic <br /> recycling container. Recycling container sets will be ordered and <br /> delivered by the CONTRACTOR to residential units. Additional and <br /> replacement container sets shall be provided by the CONTRACTOR to <br /> residential units at a cost not to exceed $4.00 per container set. <br />
