<br />-8- <br /> <br />(D) Any of the organic pollutants referred to in <br />Section 307(A) (1) of the federal Clean Water <br />Act, and presently listed in Appendix B to 40 <br />CFR 403 to exist in the POTW effluent or <br />sludge in excess of the limitations <br />established in the relevant state and/or <br />federal rules and regulations. <br /> <br />(5) Garbage other than comminuted garbage. <br /> <br />(6) Noxious or malodorous substances, such as, but not <br />limited to, hydrogen sulfide, sulphur dioxide, or <br />nitrogen oxides, which, either singly or by <br />interaction with other materials, are capable of <br />causing objectionable odors or hazards to life. <br /> <br />(7) Any substance or material which: <br /> <br />(A) Forms solids in concentrations exceeding the <br />limits established in this Article; or, <br /> <br />(B) Creates a condition deleterious to any sewer <br />system or treatment process owned or operated <br />by the City; or, <br /> <br />(C) Requires unusual provisions, attention, or <br />expense to handle in the sewer system. <br /> <br />(8) Phenols or other substances in such concentrations <br />as to produce odor or taste in the receiving <br />stream, where used as drinking water by other <br />people. <br /> <br />(9) Any biocidal agent that would interfere with the <br />wastewater treatment process or constitute a hazard <br />to aquatic and terrestrial life or impair <br />designated uses of the receiving stream. <br /> <br />(10) Waste containing radioactive materials in <br />concentrations greater than allowable by current <br />regulations of the appropriate state or federal <br />agencies. <br /> <br />(ll) Any of the following: <br /> <br />(A) Solids or viscous pollutants in amounts which <br />will cause flow obstruction in the collection <br />system and/or the treatment plant system; <br /> <br />(B) Any pollutant, including oxygen demanding <br />pollutants (BOD, COD, etc.), released in a <br />discharge at a flow rate and/or concentration <br />which will cause interference with the <br />treatment plant and/or sewer system; and <br /> <br />(C) Any wastewater wi th obj ectionable color or <br />odor not removed in the treatment process, <br />such as, but not limited to, dye wastes, <br />vegetable tanning solutions, and whole blood. <br /> <br />(b) Specific Discharge Limitations: <br /> <br />No person may discharge or cause, suffer, allow, or <br />permit to be discharged into any sanitary sewer, any of the <br />following: <br /> <br />(1) Petroleum oil, non-biodegradable cutting oil, or <br />products of mineral oil origin in amounts that will <br />cause interference or pass through. <br />
