N. LBJ Lift Station • Complete revision of the Valve Vault. • Minor modifications to the Lift Station associated with openings in the cover slab to accommodate alternative pump equipment. • Preparation of calculations for the revised Valve Vault. • Coordination with the Civil, Mechanical/Process, and ElectricalI&C discipline leads as relates the structural components identified above. • Preparation of structural construction drawings (AutoCAD format) in one IFB/IFC package. The construction drawings will include plans, sections, and details associated with the structural elements described herein along with general notes. • Preparation of "Final Draft" construction drawings and specifications for review and approval by the City of San Marcos followed by incorporation of comments and release of the construction drawings and specifications for bid and construction. • Mechanical design to include: • Review of applicable national, state and local codes and standards for project compliance. • Selection of submersible pumps for the project — preference is for Flygt "N" impellar. • Complete revision of the Valve Vault. o Minor modifications to the Lift Station to accommodate access. • Coordination with the Civil, Structural, and ElectricaUI &C discipline leads as relates the structural components identified above. • Preparation of structural construction drawings (AutoCAD format) in one IFB/IFC package. The construction drawings will include plans, sections, and details associated with the structural elements described herein along with general notes. • Preparation of "Final Draft" construction drawings and specifications for review and approval by the City of San Marcos followed by incorporation of comments and release of the construction drawings and specifications for bid and construction. • Erosion and sedimentation control design plans. • Traffic control (details included in set — not a detailed design plan). • Construction sequencing provided in plans. • Preparation of technical specifications and project manual. Documents will be prepared based on the Standard City of San Marcos documents, when appropriate. Specifications will be provided for review at both the 90% and Final design stages. • Opinion of Probable Construction Cost will be provided at 90% and Final Design. • Prepare anticipated construction schedule. • Internal quality control reviews of 90% and Final submission sets. • Prepare, print and submit 90% design plans to include 2 full size sets, 2 half size sets and I PDF copy. Prepare, print and submit Final design plans to include 2 half size sets, I PDF copy and I copy of the drawings in AutoCAD). • Internal management during the design phase of the project. Bid Phase — LAN will assist the City in bidding the project to Contractors. The detailed scope includes: • Attend the pre -bid conference. • Respond to Contractor questions regarding the bid set. Assumes up to two (2) addenda will be issued. • Assist the City in opening and review of the bids and prepare a recommendation of award letter to the City. Attachment A Page 2 of 4
