N. LBJ Lift Station <br />Prepare, print and submit conformed plans and specifications to include: bid form, <br />specifications in PDF format, and 2 full size sets of conformed plans, 4 half size sets, 1 copy <br />in PDF and 1 copy of the drawings in AutoCAD). <br />Internal management during the bidding phase of the project. <br />Construction Phase — LAN will assist the City in administering the Construction Contract, including <br />the following: <br />• Attendance at project meetings (assumes bi- weekly meetings for 6 months of construction) <br />• Attend the pre - construction meeting with the contractor <br />• Review submittals and shop drawings submitted by the Contractor for the project. Provide <br />comment, as necessary, on the submittals and maintain a submittal log. <br />• Respond to Contractor Requests for Information (RFIs) and/or modifications to the project. <br />• Visit the site two times per month during construction to observe construction (assumed 12 <br />visits). <br />• Review change orders proposed by the Contractor. <br />• Assist the City during startup of the lift station, to include a review of performance of the <br />mechanical and electrical systems. <br />Record Drawings: LAN will prepare the Record Drawings based on mark -ups from the Contractor <br />and/or inspectors on the project. The final submission will include 1 full -size set, 1 copy in PDF <br />format and 1 copy of the drawings in AutoCAD format. <br />Supplemental Services <br />The City of San Marcos requested that LAN include a few items in the contract as supplemental <br />services. Each is discussed in more detail below: <br />TCEQ Permitting_ <br />LAN will assist the City in getting the appropriate Texas Commission on Environmental Quality <br />(TCEQ) permits for the proposed new lift station. This is anticipated to include the Water Pollution <br />Abatement Plan (WPAP) and Organized Sewage Collection System (SCS) permits that are required <br />as a result of the proposed station's location within the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone. The <br />specific scope includes: <br />• Prepare WPAP forms <br />• Prepare WPAP Attachments & Exhibits <br />• Prepare SCS Forms <br />• Prepare SCS Attachments & Exhibits <br />• Update the previously prepared geological assessment (GA) for the project to focus on the <br />lift station only (Provided by SWCA Consultants as a sub to LAN). <br />• Meeting with TCEQ Region 11 Staff to discuss the WPAP & SCS. <br />• Notify TCEQ of the project in accordance with Chapter 217 requirements. <br />• Notify the Texas Historical Commission of the impending project. <br />Field Note Preparation: <br />LAN understands that the City will be negotiating easements for the project. This is anticipated to <br />include one permanent easement and a temporary easement from the same landowner. LAN will <br />coordinate with the project surveyor ( Doucet & Associates) to obtain the field notes for the easement <br />acquisition process. The specific scope includes: <br />• Coordination of definition of easements required. <br />• Preparation of field notes (Provided by Doucet & Associates as a sub to LAN). <br />Attachment A Page 3 of 4 <br />
