N. LBJ Lift Station Prepare, print and submit conformed plans and specifications to include: bid form, specifications in PDF format, and 2 full size sets of conformed plans, 4 half size sets, 1 copy in PDF and 1 copy of the drawings in AutoCAD). Internal management during the bidding phase of the project. Construction Phase — LAN will assist the City in administering the Construction Contract, including the following: • Attendance at project meetings (assumes bi- weekly meetings for 6 months of construction) • Attend the pre - construction meeting with the contractor • Review submittals and shop drawings submitted by the Contractor for the project. Provide comment, as necessary, on the submittals and maintain a submittal log. • Respond to Contractor Requests for Information (RFIs) and/or modifications to the project. • Visit the site two times per month during construction to observe construction (assumed 12 visits). • Review change orders proposed by the Contractor. • Assist the City during startup of the lift station, to include a review of performance of the mechanical and electrical systems. Record Drawings: LAN will prepare the Record Drawings based on mark -ups from the Contractor and/or inspectors on the project. The final submission will include 1 full -size set, 1 copy in PDF format and 1 copy of the drawings in AutoCAD format. Supplemental Services The City of San Marcos requested that LAN include a few items in the contract as supplemental services. Each is discussed in more detail below: TCEQ Permitting_ LAN will assist the City in getting the appropriate Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) permits for the proposed new lift station. This is anticipated to include the Water Pollution Abatement Plan (WPAP) and Organized Sewage Collection System (SCS) permits that are required as a result of the proposed station's location within the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone. The specific scope includes: • Prepare WPAP forms • Prepare WPAP Attachments & Exhibits • Prepare SCS Forms • Prepare SCS Attachments & Exhibits • Update the previously prepared geological assessment (GA) for the project to focus on the lift station only (Provided by SWCA Consultants as a sub to LAN). • Meeting with TCEQ Region 11 Staff to discuss the WPAP & SCS. • Notify TCEQ of the project in accordance with Chapter 217 requirements. • Notify the Texas Historical Commission of the impending project. Field Note Preparation: LAN understands that the City will be negotiating easements for the project. This is anticipated to include one permanent easement and a temporary easement from the same landowner. LAN will coordinate with the project surveyor ( Doucet & Associates) to obtain the field notes for the easement acquisition process. The specific scope includes: • Coordination of definition of easements required. • Preparation of field notes (Provided by Doucet & Associates as a sub to LAN). Attachment A Page 3 of 4
