1.9.1 Bring together all findings including input from the City Council to develop a final <br />report. The final report will consist of the building program, conceptual designs, analysis <br />derived from the community meetings and other findings related to creating a modern dynamic <br />library to serve the San Marcos community. The final report will include a detailed cost model <br />tailored to the accepted project budget and conceptual design. <br />1.9.2 Provide the City with presentation boards of the final conceptual design. The <br />presentation boards will include full color floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations and <br />perspective drawings. The Consultant will label all plans to indicate that they are preliminary <br />conceptual designs and are subject to change. <br />1.9.3 Provide the City with a final bound report that will include the library building program, <br />the detailed cost estimates, research findings, and other recommendations. The Consultant will <br />supply this bound report as an electronic PDF file as well as all PowerPoint presentations made <br />during the course of the Project. <br />1.9.4 Submit the final reports, presentation boards, and electronic files to the City at the <br />completion of this Project. <br />1.10 ADDITIONAL SERVICES /CHANGE IN SERVICES /ASSUMPTIONS <br />1.10.1 The City may direct the Architect to perform services outside of the scope of the Basic <br />Services described in Sections 1.1 through 1.9 above. The Architect will submit a written <br />estimate of fees to the City and obtain the City's authorization before initiating any additional <br />services. Civil, structural or MEP engineering services are specifically considered to be <br />additional services. <br />1. 10.2 The parties agree that the Architect is relying on the assumption that the City has and will <br />provide documents of the existing building and Project site. <br />1. 10.3 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by the <br />Architect must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form <br />attached to this Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be in <br />addition to that specified for Basic Services in accordance with Article 13 of this Agreement. <br />The approval of the San Marcos City Council is necessary for all additional services the <br />compensation for which exceeds $50,000.00. <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br />The City will: <br />2.1 Provide full information to the Architect regarding the City's requirements for the <br />Architect's services under this Agreement.
